If there is one thing social media has taught me, it’s that there is no such thing as a unique experience. Turns out that writing research papers as an adult that has long since left the formal classroom is not as bizarre as I thought!
I love learning (as my 2014 self proclaimed to the Twitterverse). Even in my 30s, my curiosity for life and learning has never wavered. I always struggled with answering the question “what do you want to be when you grow up?” That’s likely because I wanted to be everything, and still do.
How can I possibly choose what I want to spend my life doing if I don’t know what I don’t know?
The good news is, there are no rules that say you can’t learn a new subject or study a new field of expertise whenever you want to.
So join me while I put my learning habits, findings, discovered interests, and more on display so that you may find it either entertaining, or ideally, it may spark something in you to follow along and do it too.
Beginning something new, and starting from scratch, truly lights me up inside. Because the beginning means you have so much to look forward to. I can’t wait to know what I don’t know!
It will soon be obvious to you as you read, that this Substack is written by a painfully Type-A-Virgo’s perspective so at the very least, if the sight of color-coding makes your heart melt, I think you will still get some great value out of this.
